The intent of Rent Reasonableness is to provide the Authority with immediate access of comparable units and will allow easy update and standardized reporting. Not only will the Authority fully comply with the requirements of the Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP), but will also better utilize program resources by ensuring market comparability of contract rents.

The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is a constant changing program. To keep up with the changes consider a refreshment training seminar to keep your Section 8 staff up to date. If you have support staff new to the Industry then consider a complete Section 8 training course covering all aspects of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Section 8 Administrative Plan
